These links go through a redirect at /go/{extension}/ before landing on the extension's official page. The redirect is what allows any commission to be tracked.

What this means for you

Using an affiliate link never costs you anything extra. The price you pay — if there's a price at all — is exactly the same whether you click our link or go directly to the developer's own page.

Editorial independence

Whether a link is an affiliate link has no bearing on how we rank, review, or write about an extension. Our verdicts, pros and cons, and "best for" recommendations are based on our own research, not on which links pay us.

Do affiliate links cost me more money?

No. Clicking an affiliate link and then installing or subscribing to an extension costs exactly the same as going directly to the developer's own page. Any commission we earn comes from the developer, not from you.

Does an affiliate relationship change your rankings or verdicts?

No. Whether a link earns us a commission has no influence on our verdicts, pros and cons, or "best for" picks. Those are based on our own research, not on which developer pays us.

What does the 'Sponsored' label mean on a listing?

It means that specific placement, such as a highlighted spot on a category page, was paid for. It doesn't mean we recommend an extension we wouldn't otherwise recommend on its own merits.
